About Industrial™
Industrial™ is a West Midlands company that designs and delivers changes to the systems businesses already run: ERP, WMS, EDI, CRM, EPOS and bespoke software. Incorporated in 2017. It is small on purpose, it works under a statement of work at a price fixed in writing, and it delivers in a way most software houses do not.
The founder
I'm Sam Naseem, and I founded Industrial™ in 2017. I'm an engineer and independent solutions architect in the West Midlands, with more than 20 years of making enterprise systems work together. I'm an ISB Executive Alumnus, holding a certificate in Leadership with AI, and I also founded AI UVD, the applied-AI practice. → https://samnaseem.com/
The kind of change I am brought in for is the one that is too consequential to get wrong: an ERP extension, a new warehouse or order flow, two businesses' systems joined after a merger, a bespoke system asked to do something it was never built for. I do not name the businesses I have worked for, and I do not describe their work.

A different delivery model
I use AI agents I have trained and direct to do much of the drafting, research, coding and testing that a software project needs. I review every design decision and every deliverable. The judgement, the architecture and anything that touches a client's live systems stay with me, or with a trusted engineer I have worked with.
It is the central difference in how Industrial™ works, and I chose it deliberately. Fewer engineering hours go into each deliverable, which is why I can fix the price before the work starts and get you to go-live sooner. I do not claim it costs less than another software house: I have not measured that, and my price is set by the outcome, not by the hours I spend.
Industrial™ does not sell AI as a service. The agents are how we deliver; they are not the product.
Small, and agile because of it
You deal with the person who designs the system. Decisions are made in the room with me, not passed between a sales team and a delivery team. The line from your question to an answer is short. When a project needs to change course, the change is written down and answered within the working days set in the statement of work, without a committee. The consequence is that we take on a small number of clients at a time.
The rule of promise
I don't promise what I couldn't deliver alone.
Where I bring in others, it is because I understand the work well enough to judge it and to rescue it. New capability is learned properly before it is offered.
Expectations set on what can be done today
Expectations set on what the technology can actually do today, measured as we go, so what we agree at the start is what gets delivered. I spend hours every day with the technology itself, and that time is protected, which is why I can tell you what it will and won't do today.
Who you'll work with
Me.
I architect and lead every engagement, and I am in every technical meeting and every design decision.
Trusted engineers,
brought in for specific work that needs them, under my review. Anyone who will touch your systems or personal data is named in the statement of work before they start. Subcontracting terms: /engagements/#subcontracting.
AI agents I direct,
for drafting, research, coding and testing, under my review. They never touch your live systems or credentials.
- Invoicing and payments: handled by our credit controller. First contact, proposals and the statement of work come from me.
- If I am unavailable: nobody else takes over the design or the decisions. Every output is written down and handed over with a runbook as the work goes, so your people or another supplier can carry on.
We have no vacancies and do not recruit a bench of associates.
How the three names fit
- Industrial™ contracts integration, automation and architecture work: this site.
- AI UVD Ltd is the applied-AI practice, with its own offers and terms: https://aiuvd.com/about/
- samnaseem.com is Sam: https://samnaseem.com/
Where an Industrial™ engagement needs AI, AI UVD is proposed for that part. A consent to be contacted names both companies, because a consent given to one does not cover the other.
Every engagement is architected by me, and I'm the person you deal with.
We take on a small number of clients at a time.
